My Experience With the Vivo V60

I’ve been testing the Vivo V60 for a while now, and honestly, it feels like a phone that’s punching way above its price tag. At Rs. 144,999 ($528), it’s not cheap, but the features make it feel closer to a flagship than a mid-ranger.

First Impressions – Stylish and Premium

The first thing I noticed when I unboxed the Vivo V60 was how sleek it looked. I went with the Moonlit Blue color, and under light, it shines beautifully. At just around 7.5mm thin, it feels light in hand despite carrying a monster 6500 mAh battery.

The matte finish keeps fingerprints away, and it actually feels more premium than some phones that cost much more.

The Display – Bright Enough To Impress

I’ve used plenty of phones, but the 6.77-inch AMOLED screen on the Vivo V60 left me stunned. The colors pop, the blacks are deep, and the 120Hz refresh rate makes everything feel buttery smooth.

What really surprised me was the 5000 nits peak brightness. On a sunny day, I watched YouTube outdoors, and I didn’t have to squint once. Not many phones in this price range can claim that.

Cameras – Flagship Feel With Zeiss Optics

The Vivo V60’s camera setup is no joke. The 50MP main sensor with OIS delivers sharp photos, even when my hands shake a little. The periscope zoom lens is fun to use — I took a shot of a building sign from across the street, and it looked crisp.

The UFS 4.1 storage also makes a noticeable difference — apps load quickly, and switching between them feels instant.

Battery – The Real Deal

This is where the Vivo V60 completely won me over. The 6500 mAh battery is a beast. I’m a heavy user — social media, gaming, YouTube, and calls all day — and yet I went to bed with around 25% battery left.

On lighter days, it easily stretches to two days on a single charge. And when I finally needed to charge, the 90W fast charging took it from almost dead to more than 60% in about 25 minutes. That’s the kind of convenience I didn’t know I needed.

Would I recommend it? Absolutely. If you want a phone that combines performance, style, and endurance, the Vivo V60 is worth every rupee.

For me, it’s one of the best choices in 2025 if you want near-flagship features without paying flagship prices.
